Hey guys I have recently purchased an EOTech and Magnifier off Ebay and it has a Duracoat Epoxy Firearms Finish on it that the previous owner put on and I was wondering what is the best way to remove it without damaging the optic and the original color (FDE) that both parts came from the store as?

Duracoat is tough stuff. Good luck!

Even Krylon is a bitch to get off. Try acetone.

CitriStrip, a toothbrush and plenty of patience should get it off without damaging anything.
