So i ordered a 22 cal otis kit. I like there stuff and have been using them on bigger calibers guns for years. Rifle needed a good cleaning so i grabbed the brush that came with it and did a total of 20 swipes through the bore. 10 and then wipe clean and then 10 more. When i was done and cleaning up i realized the brush said .25. Id imagine it wouldnt hurt a chrome bore but thought id ask for opinions. Could this scratch up the bore at all? Thanks

A brass brush will not harm a chrome bore.

Stainless steel might, but it would take a lotta passes.

Not an issue at all.

Nothing should happen.
The question is is brushing the bore really necessary?
