I have a Stag model 4 that's about 2 years old with an A2 stock that, it has oil spot from when it was new and grunge from use.  I can't find any procedures on how to clean it, does anyone know of a way?  Thanks

That's a losing battle. Those stocks will soak up every kind of face oil, gun oil, misc grease that touches them.

Try brushing around it with water or one of the simple-green type degreasers to see if you can spread the spot around enough to get it to match closer.

Yes they do, I'll give that a try.

Thanks

Consider it "patina" from use.   If you can't get it to go away, you could oil the rest of the stock lightly.

just oil the complete stock.

Just remove and disassemble the stock and scrub it with a toothbrush + dish soap and warm water. It works great.
