i got this small can of sears gun oil from my sister whose husband passed away, i would say it is at least 30 years old, question is, is this oil still good to use on firearms? thanks

Test it on a small portion of the outside of your barrel and report back..

put oil on a blue s&w mod. 10. it was like rem oil, did not hurt blue. made the bluing shiney and took off surface grime i did not know that was there. oil was really thin, so must be good to go. thanks for the advice.

if it's oil it's fine....given that it's SEARS oil from 30 years ago with no additives etc,  it should be absolutely fine.
