We have a few of the first version single style cases and they're awesome. I no longer carry any other field kit on my pack (I personally also own about 3 issued small OTIS kits, 1 large OTIS kit, and multiple soft GI issue kits). The big pros for me are that the hard case protects the rods from being bent as well as any lube from getting smashed as it will in a soft kit and get everywhere. It also doesn't hurt that you can throw it in an extra mag pouch on the side of a pack, etc.  The Double they started on Kickstarter this week is the size of 2 magazines and should fit any double mag pouch.
