After I had my bolt out and cleaned it I put it back in the carrier but now it's stuck.  It rotates, but won't slide front to back so I can't get the cam back in.  It spins because it's all cleaned up but it won't slide.  How do I get it unstuck from the carrier and why would it be stuck?  Something with the gas rings?

Are you sure it's really stuck or is it just tight? The bolt may be able to spin while the rings are actually tight to the carrier (thus making it seem like it's stuck). Give it a good hard push or pull. Many times new rings are seriously tight at first until fired a bit.

It was really really stuck.  One of e gas rings crossed over another where the lip is in the carrier.  I ended up hammering the bolt out from the back with a punch and the gas rings were shredded.  I didn't know there was an internal ring on the inside of the carrier. Where they could stuck
