So it sounds like you want to remove the barrel?
I have no idea if the barrel nut on the Sig 516 is proprietary or not. It may require special tools. There must be someone on here that knows the answers to your questions. Edit: I found two threads that may help you but the wrench you posted a picture of will not work with the Sig 516 as the wrench needed is proprietary. Link. Link. |

search for the custom 516 rail someone did on here. They might be willing to part with or may have made more than one wrench for the 516.
Edit: Previous poster second link is guy that made wrench for 516 |

THANKS You will need to IM member BigBrakes76 from my second link to see if he would be willing to sell you one. Other than that I'm not so sure where else you could get a wrench for the Sig 516 barrel nut. |
