Anybody used a foaming bore cleaner on their AR?

I use it exclusively in my ar's. No problem yet...

Just make sure you clear out the tube with brake cleaner or something like that.

I've never worried about that. Just shoot out any residue,  if any, with your first shot..

It's what it said on my can to do, I figured it just takes a minute to do and it won't hurt it to do it.

+1   I use foam with every cleaning and never worried about this at all.  The foam breaks down and dissipates on its own accord so no need to worry really.
