THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
Been around shooting and hunting my whole life, but now that im "on my own" don't have dads cleaning kit anymore so I need to start building my own; Got any input or advice?
For lubricant I think Ill tryout with Slip 2000 EWL
For solvents/cleaners M Pro 7 and Gunslick foaming bore cleaner

would these be good choices and cover all my bases for general cleaning and protecting of my ARs?

Thanks

Get a small package of the fouling remover. It's sort of like jeweler's rouge but a little grittier. Reddish-brown in color. It works VERY well to remove barrel fouling!

Slip 2000 Extreme Weapons Lubricant
Slip 2000 725 Gun Cleaner/Degreaser
Slip 2000 Carbon Killer
Ultrasonic cleaning machine

Slip 2000

That's what I use now after years of Break free CLP, Slip 200 cleans and protects better (IMHO) and is much safer to use with no unsightly odors.

What you have listed will work great. Skip the JB.

JB works well in unlined bores, it might be overkill for anything chrome lined. It won't hurt anything either.

This is a LAST resort product. I cannot tell you how barrel makers LOVE this product. They sell barrels to replace those that have had this used in them. All it does is help wear out your barrels faster!. Go to some sniper related sights or google the old blogs from Gale McMillan. He'll set you straight.
