i despise cleaning a gun. is there really such a thing as a spray on gun cleaner? what works? thanks

Brake cleaner.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ed's Red ate through a plastic bottle.

Ed's Red will only eat up plastic if you make it with acetone in the recipe. I only use that formula for cleaning plastic wad fouling in shotguns.

Yeah, I've been using Ed's Red for many, many years.
I mix it with the acetone, I just store it in glass bottles, and I've never had any problems with it.
Personally, I really like using the stuff.
