So the new chamber adapter fits nicely into he upper and is removed just as easily. Now I have a new issue. Testing out this new adapter today for the first time, I was getting failures to eject, feed, stove pipes and 2-3rd bursts. What could be causing this? I was using (3)blackdog 10rd magazines in a bushmaster M4 A3 E2S upper. This same AR shoots .223/5.56 just fine as well as it's had hundreds of .22 using this same conversion kit with the old adapter. I plan on reaching out to CMMG in the morning.

Best guess on the bursting, you have a L cut top of firing pad hammer, the hammer spring it too strong for the adapter kit, and the new adpter kit needs to have it parts polished.
Hence the bolt is not coming all the way back to cock the hammer to the disco, and this is causing the burst, cycling problems.
This is how to break it down,

Once you have it apart,
Polish the spring rod guide and make sure that there is not a bur on the entrance to the spring channel on the bolt.
On the rail, polish the top and bottom of it, the inner sides of the it, and make sure that there is edge burs on the rail, nor on the side slots of the bolt.
As for hammer type, this is the type of hammer you really want.
Not this type of hammer,
As for if you are not running a reduced hammer spring needed to get the the bolt once the parts are polished to cycle correctly with weaker kind of ammo, then may have to run hotter mini mag 22lr ammo to get the action to full cycle instead.
And again, do not do any thing to the chamber of the adapter, since if you over large it in any way, this is going to cause the cycling problem to become worse.
