Here's the situation... installing a YHM QD flash hider suppressor mount on a Sig taper-lok 300BLK barrel. I have the taper cap on there to provide a 90 degree flat shoulder to bottom out the mount on (which is recommended by YHM and Sig), but the flats for torquing the mount are so thin that my armorer's wrench won't fit due to the thickness. I'm using a tapco wrench that has never let me down. Does anyone know of a thin armorer's tool/wrench that will accept a 1/2" torque wrench. I apologize for not having the thickness of the flats measured, but most tools don't give thickness as a spec, or have a powder coat on them which makes them thicker anyway. Just curious if anyone has ever run into this or a similar problem (read somewhere about someone having a similar issue with a bull barrel and narrow flats, but no solutions were given). Thanks in advance.

You might try a 3/4 crowfoot.

Tapco's armorer's tool looks like it might do the job.
