Shoot it. It's a self correcting problem. Unless the leaks are massive, carbon will fill them in within a few shots.

FPNI.... while AR15's are more "precision" than AK's, the machining is not all that precise, "Milspec" really only means interchangeability between manufacturers. All that time spent doing a scientific pressure test could have been range time

My question is now does one go about fixing it, the barrel is dimpled and the GB has set screws. Thanks The set screws should be drawing the gas block passage entrance tightly to the top of the barrel gas block channel, so chances are there is a ring bur around the entrance to the gas block passage that is not allowing a matching seal, or the gas block channel through it was not reamed correctly to produce tight matching straight surface to the barrel diameter instead. |
