Sorry for the rookie question. But while trying to boresight my 12.5 Noveske Crusader barrel, I noticed no matter what adjustments I make with my Troy Sights, the beam is outside their reach. Doesnt matter if I use my Site Lite in the end of the barrel, or the Sightmark in the chamber. My 7.5 and 16 all sighted in fine ironsight/ACOG/EOTech wise, but this one is WAY out of whack. Dot is UP and RIGHT f the FSP. I took it apart, everything is straight, I don't know what the deal is? Oh, its a Fortis 12" rail. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Forgive me if you already know this, but to bore-sight, you need to allow for the height of the irons and optic's reticle over the bore axis; you cannot just "park" the FSP on the bore-sight's dot and be zeroed. Do the irons first with a target  compensated for your desired zero distance (available here), then adjust your optic's dot/crosshair/reticle to the FSP, allowing for the co-witness height of your optic. If you do that correctly, your gun should be "on paper", and you can fine-tune from there. If you do that, and the range of adjustment on either the irons or optic are insufficient, then you have a mechanical issue.

Do let us know what you do to get it fixed, or if that doesn't fix it.
