jimo711 Member Joined: Jul 2012 TX, USA Posts: 1 Feedback: 0% (0)	Posted: 7/9/2012 5:38:46 PM THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I installed a new wolff buffer spring(# 16500) in my AR15 and now the bolt/carrier wont lock open. Called wolff and they said to start cutting off a coil at a time until the bolt works correctly. My question is has anybody else tried this and what to watch out for?.

Don't clip the spring,,,

Set is aside for when a extra tension spring is need to solve over function problems, and use the old standard tension spring instead (you know, the one that you didn't have problem with, to begin with).
