THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT Any help?
ETA: Think I solved it by lubing the back groove on the hammer where the disconnector grabs before the reset. Seems to be working okay now. Is this a common issue with new parts that haven't been lubed well?

The entire FCG parts, including the pins, should have been CLP lubed before the FCG was installed.
Not only does this lube the parts, but helps the parts to rid themselves of long term storage grease (and anything that the grease may have collected). |

OP, never dry fire like the meathead in your video with the hammer allowed to drop and strike against the magwell.

That guy is an idiot. If he does not know how to properly func check the weapon how can he complain about the reset. I bet his disco spring is upside down and his magwell cracked.

I think the lube helped and I'll chalk it up for now to un-lubed new parts. |

Is your trigger spring installed correctly? That's what provides the oomph to reset the trigger on release, so you don't have to push forward on the trigger from behind it.
If so, then it's likely a lube issue as mentioned above. |
