THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
Question for the experts as I'm new to AR15. I have a DPMS basic model(no F/A or eject cover) with only a few hundred rounds thru it. What would cause the front trigger system pin to break! A piece of it just fell out when I was shooting this AM. Got a new pin but wondering if I need to buy a few more!

Thanks,
BW

Best guess, FCG pin just incorrectly heat treated wrongly, making it too Brittle and the reason that it snapped in half if in a 223 rig.

If in a Blow back action like 9mm, get used to it since that rig in stock form is going to chew through pins like they where candy.
