THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT Also, another thing I have to say is these friggin rifles are lasers! I know they are not the "newest/ latest" but the are simply amazing. Once again I was banging a head size plate out 730 yards with ease. I only missed when the plate was still swinging and twice because of me on the trigger but those misses were near hits. While I know these other .308ARs are very good but some of them a double what an Armalite costs with what I would argue is no improvement in accuracy. I am jsut truely amazed at the level of accuracy and reliabilty of my rifle. It does what I expect it to do over and over again. There....I just had to get that off my chest! |

I am just so stokeed about these Gen 2 mags, I wished I would have bought them when they first came out but my Gen 1s are damned near flawless, I had a handful of jams over the years but nothing to be concerned about. But these Gen 2s are really slick.... |

I hate them so much I ordered 5 more (20's) from 44MAG today. That will give me a total of 23 (25's), 23 (20's), 2 (10's) and 1 5 rounder for 2 rifles.

wow AR 10 guys are so touchy. I'm in the midst of a SASS that accepts either mags...can't make up my mind. The SASS A only accepts PMAGs ?

Who's touchy? I am excited and just made a proclamation for all to see . Not a slam on anyone or anything but really there is no way that I see the Pmag as an upgrade. That's just a personal thing , I will tell you to buy what you want to buy. But with me being a reloader I will stick with the Gen 2 mag....

Larue mags are better than KAC mags, I'd say they are the best. POF mags are as well made as GEN2 mags. I'd say they are all equal, the only sub-par mags would probably be DPMS and CProducts (or whatever they call themselves this week). PMags are fine for what they are.
Personally I don't care one way or the other, as long as they run what I brung. Certainly don't see anything to get excited about; unless you have a SCAR 17 I guess. Those guys were in limbo for awhile. |

I've had my rifle for about 3 years now. I've only had 2 jams, and that was only with brand new 25rd mags. One was with steel ammo, the other was my rifle was dry and dirty. Both were inn the first loads of the new mag. After that, never jammed again. I'm about 6-800rds down range. Stopped counting awhile ago. These mags are great, and not that expensive off you buy the packs from Armalite.

BB ,
The Larue mags look good and like everything else they make I am sure it is GTG all the way but I would venture to say they ate about as rare as hen's teeth. Most like only available with a shipped rifle. Both the KAC and Larue mags are stoopid expensive. I would like to see and shoot both those rifles on person but I don't know anyone that has either... Same for the LMT.... |

Same for the LMT.... You can buy the OBR mags from Larues website; yes they are not cheap, but they are cheaper than KAC mags. About the same as AIC mags. My LMT came with a couple KAC mags, used to be you could buy them from LMT for about $80 a pop; no longer see them listed since they switched to PMAGs. |

Oh.... I went to their site yesterday and they had $0.0 under the .308 mag I figured they were not selling them individually .

You have to select how many you want in the drop-down to get the prices.

I live my Gen II mags and plan to buy some more, what is even more great is going to the range knowing my mags won't work on most guns.
I live how this gun will shoot the lighter grains at tight groups, I almost bought something else but I am glad I didn't. I also like how loud it is, it always commands attention at any range. |

I have bought up enough so I should be ok if something does happen. |

If they say that's what they are gonna do, it's what they are gonna do regardless of some clowns calling them liars. |
