It sounds like the FFL sent the wrong rifle. An AR-10T is not an AR-10A SASS. What do the mags look like? Are they waffle mags or the M14 based gen 1/2?

I think he mentioned that it came with the Gen 2 mags if it's the post I am thinking of and it sounds like he has a 10B series.

Sounds like the out of state FFL he dealt with was wrong.

I actually prefer the 10B series, but if you paid for a SuperSASS, either A or B series, and got a 10T, that dealer needs to straighten this out pronto.

Can you post a picture of your rifle and mags?

If it's a Colt, it's a copy of an original ArmaLite.

I am not LARRYG36.

Racing is life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.

If your AR10 is marked Geneseo, IL, it's still an AR10 no matter what some people say.

The rifle is still with my FFL transfer agent and I did not take any pics. The magazines are the steel M14 based magazines. The lower receiver is stamped "AR-10T". Looks like it will be getting shipped back.

Thanks all,
