Having good luck with my 20" in .308. Tight chamber and accurate. I'd recommend one.

Rainier Arms sells a barrel for the AR10 from another manufacturer than Armalite? Do you have a link to it? I have searched their site and several weeks ago I even called them asking if they carried AR10 barrels other than the Armalite barrels. Heck, I even live 15 minutes from their store.
Do tell, Thanks EDIT: I'm thinking this was a misprint of someone looking for an Olympic Arms AR15 product? |

Here's a link to thier 18 inch barrell: http://www.rainierarms.com/?page=shop/detail&product_id=2236 They also have 16, 20, and 24 in both Armalite and DPMS pattern, though they seem to be running low right now. |

Sometimes I'll try sending a 150 gr FMJ or a 155 PALMA bullet 600+ yards with my AR10. While I have heard the 175 bullets would be a better choice for the wind, I often find myself on the firing line with the 150's. This makes me ask if the 10" twist seems kinda fast?
I'm still .30 caliber ignorant, so I don't yet know how different twists influence different bullets as distance increases. |

My older SASS with 11.25 ArmaLite SASS barrel was putting lead on steel at 1000 yards today, so I am quite happy with the factory barrel.
My even older 10T with the EA chrome moly barrel can still do that. |
