We have found that the company that makes our M-15 extractor springs may have sent some to us by mistake and some of our rifles may have been shipped out of here with those springs. The gold (brass actually) looking springs are HD springs and when used in conjunction with the buna o-ring and buna plug can cause the extractor to hold onto the spent round while still trying to feed the next. If you're having extraction issues and you find that the spring in question is in your extractor, just remove the o-ring and that will fix the problem.

Our M-15 extractor springs are silver and utilize the buna o-ring and buna plug.
