THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
I have a Surefire FH762K03 muzzle device I want to put on my SuperSASS in order to attach a FA762K suppressor.

Anything special I need to do to remove the factory flash suppressor? (Eg loctite that needs heat to break?) Can I just put the upper in a vice, grab a wrench, and twist it off?

Thanks.

I'd put the barrel in the vise and not the upper.

That is the correct way to do the job. Barrel blocks are cheap compared to replacing a receiver.
