You can install any GB you like, I would prefer the PRI FSB. also with the upcoming mid-length version, you can have a low profile gas block under the hand guard for a more slick look.

Well they do look better than those single slot Eagle gas blocks.

It looks very cool all the way around. The only negative aspect it has that I can see are the TWELVE screws that hold the upper and lower rails together.

That's 12 screws on the short seven inch rail too.

We're looking into a possible low profile gas block for this.

Will this upper or rail system be sold alone? or with a lower?

At some point I'm told we will be selling the uppers and parts for the rails but the rail system itself is part of the upper receiver. I would imagine at some point we'd be selling the upper receiver with rail as well. Still have to wait on clarification. Stay tuned.

IIRC in the SHOT Video they said they will have complete rifles and upper halves in 5.56, 6.8, and .308 as well as stripped upper/rail platforms for "Hobbyists."

I'd like to see a low profile gas block and no useless and ugly (for the commercial market) M203 cut on the barrel.

When can my local dealer get it in stock? Is there a pre-order queue?

Yep, 12 screws are a bit much, but it's the tradeoff for the flexibility provided by the ability to remove the rails and replace them with just what you wish.

It allows you to minimize the diameter of the handguard element if you wish.

Very cool, I am impressed.

Sorry I didn't see the 6.5 lb number on your website, I always take manufacturers weight numbers with a huge grain of salt anyway. But if you say its that light I believe you. Good stuff.

So..... they finally went to 1:7 rifling. Hmm..

Have you guys thought about doing any CHF nitro-carburized (non-chromed) barrels out of so-called 41v45 (machine-gun) steel blanks. I think that would be nice for the AR-10. Or is that was Noveske does?
