Hello Everyone - I'm sure this question has been asked a bunch of times. I am building my first AR15 and need to make the barrel NJ compliant. From what I have learned, the opening diameter at the end of the compensator needs to match that of the barrel. So, I am looking for a compliant compensator. I see one in the AR15 store (link below) that looks like it will do the trick. Is this NJ compliant?

Seems it would be given it is pre-drilled. Just want to make sure. Other than this one, what are other NJ folks using?

You'll have MUCH better luck with this in the NJ subsection.

^^what he said.

My state used to have a similar law. Muzzle brakes/compensators only, no flash hiders. Retarded yet it is the law.

The item you linked to looks like it will do the trick. I believe in NJ you also have to pin and weld it. If it is going on a 14.5" barrel then you need to pin and weld it anyway.

Thanks so much. Didn't realize there was a NJ section.
