I'm building an AR for a friend of mine and he wants an all chrome or polished aluminum build. The upper, lower and barrel are no problem but I can't seem to find a raw free float handguard other than one place that sells them but you have to buy 50 of them. Anyone here know where I could get just one of them and worst case scenario a chrome one?

I would guess clear anodized, not bare aluminum.  Bare aluminum would be very soft.

I would suggest going with a coating, like KG Gunkote or Duracoat to simulate a "bare aluminum" color, but not leave the metal exposed.  That way you could leave the anodizing on the parts if desired.
