A 100% build would be from a block of aluminum or a raw forging.

Get your muzzle device pinned & welded before assembling.

taz:  I recommend a flash hider instead of a brake.  The extra muzzle blast is a real pain and the 5.56 cartridge has very mild recoil anyway.  I like the 3-prong variety.  Also, BCM's Gunfighter charge handles are superb.  I also have an AXS ambi charge handle, and find the latching action is nowhere near as refined as that on the Gunfighter. BTW, Faxon barrels are very highly regarded by those who use them. good luck - CW
