Looking for a low profile gas block.  Wanting to change the hand guards on a couple rifles.  Not really wanting to cut down the front site that is on it at this time.  Need a suggestion on which gas block.  Is there a difference?  Does it really matter?   Thanks in advance..

Consider a longer, extended gas block so you don't have exposed pin holes. It might not have finish down there, and you might have an exposed razor sharp edge. Anderson Manufacturing makes one, but you might want to call first to make sure you're ordering the correct one...they don't have photos on their website.

Is what is on their now pinned like in the previous picture?  A picture of current setup might help.

Odin Works makes a gas block that is a replacement for traditional sight.
