Nice build. We put a 16 inch pencil Faxon barrel in my fiancee's build and it has been a very accurate gun. The only issue I have, and it is not a Faxon issue, is that pencil barrels heat up quick and transfers to the hand guard. I am glad we put some of the LT index clips on as it helps to shield you from the heat.

Nice work, Splat.  How much does it weigh?  I did a similar 16" lightweight build in 6.8 SPC and ended up at 5 lbs, 7 oz with a Leupold 2-7x28 and no magazine. - CW

Thanks, she comes in right about 7lbs with the scope and light mounted.

(scope and mount is over a 1lb unfortunately, when funds present themselves I plan to upgrade)

That's why I added the BCM rail panels, especially since my rail heats up quickly as well!
