Building an sbr upper and for the life of me I can't find a 10.5 lightweight barrel.

Only seems to be a very few expensive ones out there. Thank you the Odin works one looks like it might do the job, wish it came in black.

My guess why there are so few options is the weight savings in such short barrel is minimal. My 11.5" BCM is their standar barrel and only a few ounces heavier than the light weight version.

It will not be easy though, FSB take some time to install. Doing a sale on installed FSBs might bog down assembly and we want to make sure we can ship everyone's orders in a timely manner.

If you guys added 10.3 and 16 inch barrels with FSBs, I think you would likely have a couple of well selling barrels. I'd be in for a 16 with FSB.

Edit: Although that did not stop me from purchasing a mid-length 16 inch BA barrel from Primary arms on Wednesday. Awesome barrel. You guys rock.

Thanks for the kind words! The 16" is offered with an FSB, even the new pencil (.625) profiles. The problem with 10.3" barrels is that since it is a Hanson profile, the gas block journal is only 1" long, designed for use with a 1" gas block whereas an FSB is 1.9".
