Title kind of says it all.  I am looking for a high quality M4 profile barrel without the M4 feed ramps.  I am going to mate it up to a Colt C7 style upper and I would rather not cut the ramps on a Colt.

I guess my fallback option would be to just go with a barrel with M4 ramps since it is doable.

It will work fine.  I have 2 Colt M4 barrels in C7 uppers, and they have never hiccuped

I have a A2 upper that runs fine with a barrel that has ramps

You can run a barrel with M4 ramps in a receiver that does not have them. You will potentially have issues if your receiver has M4 feed ramps but your barrel does not.

That's a sweet looking rifle!  I suspect in the long run I will just go with something with M4 ramps.  I already have another build with a Green Mountain barrel with M4 ramps and the receiver does not.

I think finding one without m4 ramps would be harder than manscaping drunk and blindfolded and not cutting your veggies.
