Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - My first build

Nothing fancy for my first build of an AR-15.  I'll admit that starting with an assembled upper and only assembling the lower might be a "cheat", next time I'll build the upper.

Started with this set of parts:


About one hour later, this was the result:


Thanks to a bunch of threads here for inspiration.  All the notes really helped to make this an easy project.
