You need to use a photo sharing site like photobucket, click the "Direct" link, and paste it using the Image icon (located to the left of the media player icon) when you post...

Nope, that wasn't it...

ETA:  You can use the "Preview" button to see if they work before posting, but they'll usually show up as you're making the post if it's done correctly...

Yup, Gibbs made this for Joe bobs, NFA and several other vendors.

Nice build

What are the advantages to a "side charger"?

For me it's being able to rack the bolt if I have a misfire without losing my sight picture.

Would you please post a picture of the charging handle side with the bolt locked back and charging handle pulled back?   I'd like to see just how far back the "dust cover" on the side goes.  Wondering if it would be impractical on a CQB type pistol with a Sig brace.
Thanks

For me it's because I'm in a wheel chair and it's easier for me to use.

I'll post the pic in just a minute

Well, IMO that's not a good reason.

A safety drill is in order for any misfire, and I don't think you can do a safety check without losing the sight picture.

I know I can't.  YMMV

I understand.

I know the FN-FAL is very handy to use.

Here it is locked back.

I gotta add that I'm very impressed with this Spartan upper receiver! It fits nice and snug with my lower (no-wiggles) and the action is super smooth!

Is the charging handle slide contacting your lower receiver when retracted?

No contact with my Mega GTR-H ambi lower.

It's a nice upper, I like mine a lot...if you shoot prone a lot you'll quickly grow to love it.

It comes very very close but does not make contact. I can't say enough about this receiver! I am so happy with this upper
