I just purchased this based off of some talk here on this forum.

I received it and the exterior looks good.

The interior seems a bit rough. Anyone else get one of these? How's yours look?

I'll run a patch through it tonight to see if it's residue, but I didn't think barrels got shot at the factory.

I had to hone the chambers on the first two the club got . After that the next 3 were good.

Is this a Melonited one ?
If so an extraordinary amount of patches will be in order. Just the nature of the beast. Black, black, black.

OK, I ran a dry bores ale through it a few times and it now looks like a normal barrel. I like the melonite finish.

Hoping to install it in the next few weeks

EDIT: replace "bores ale" with BORE SNAKE.
I'm not drunk but spell check is...
