Has anyone had experience with the Seekins Lower.  I noted on first inspection that there is no detent pin to hold the takedown pin in place.  Is there a special take down pin one must use?

I have a Seekins lower that is almost done. Just needs a buffer tube, spring and buffer. There is a place for the takedown pin. It's been relocated to under the pistor grip. It's held in with a very small (.050") allen set screw. These really are the best of the best lowers in my opinion. Yes, they are pricey, but well worth the extra money. I was able to install my Battle Arms pivot and takedown pins with no problem. The lower comes with instructions, plus there are a couple of websites that have specific assembly instructions.

Buy one. You won't be sorry.

It is a threaded hole. You need to trim the spring down. About the length of the screw.

ETA: Just to show off a bit.

Thank All I found the allen screw.  I had already purchased the lower so I was committed. So far my project is coming together nicely.  Barrel, bolt and carrier due Monday then I can finish it up.  I could not find the matching Seekins upper so I went with a Spike's Billet Upper, and Geissele rail and fire control group. My first build.  Hope I don't mess it up.
