I took advantage of the 4th of July sale, but I still have not received my 308 LPK. It was an in stock item, and said 1-2 days to ship it out, but nada. I saw quite a few folks took advantage of the sale on the Sig braces, and I know some of you order from them. What has been your experience? Now that the panic is over, and retailers are loaded with product they need to move I am a bit disappointed my stuff has not shipped out. I am not normally one to complain, but I do not think I will order from this vendor again. Oh, BTW I did give them a courtesy call, and ask when my product might ship put, and twice (one call a week) I was told it was shipping out the next day.

I have noticed some online retailers state in their ad 7-14 days before they ship. Other products say 5-7 days. When I see that, I click out and look elsewhere. I deal with one online vendor, I order Friday morning, and the items are in my mailbox on Monday. That is almost as fast as I can drive there, lol.

I ordered a Sig brace during their sale and called to see why it hadn't shipped, the guy who answered was very nice and said that it should have shipped, but for some reason it never processed.  He apologized and got it in the mail that day and upgraded to over-night shipping.  

Sure, I wish I didn't have to call, but they went out of their way (as I believe they should have) to try and correct the issue to the best of their abilities.  That, coupled with the fact that I got the Sig brace for <$100, is reason for me to buy from them again.

Still nothing. Order says "placed with supplier". I have several other vendors I could have got this from, and will think twice about ordering from them again if this is there shipping timeframe. Hell, Botach ships faster, and is less of a hastle.

Some companies don't keep much stock, and order "drop ship" from a 3rd party vendor. This could ad significant time to your order.

This appears to be what this company does. On my third call about my order on the 3rd that should have been sent out that week I got a fellow that actually got the order out. But, the parts are coming from texas, not Idaho. DPMS is not in Texas so I don't know who they are getting the product drop shipped from. I like to order parts from vendors that are in my shipping zone to reduce the chance it gets lost or stolen, and get here in a timely fashion, but I will leave this company in the rolodex with Opticsplanet...
