I like the look and all but there's no way the AAC Silencer would fit with this current set up. Will I be able to use shims to correct this issue?

The most you should gain from shims would be around 3mm using a 2mm spacer and then timing shims. So probably going to have to opt for the band saw or send it back and get a 9" rail.

shoot it like that and buy another rail... looks good like it is you just won't be able to get the suppressor on there until you swap out the rails

looks good regardless op

Nope. Even if shims would bring it past the end of the rail you can't use shims with that mount for your AAC can anyway. You need a shorter rail, bud.

You need quite a bit of space behind the mount because the suppressor sits further back than the teeth.

I have that rail and was planning on a 10.5" barrel, but I don't have to have that flashider. What flashider could I use to get me safely past the rail or am I just better off to go with an 11.5?

Go with 11.5" barrel so you can put your can on it.

Or use a 9" NSR.

Heck even make a MK18 clone out of it.

If it were my gun, I'd change the barrel to 11.5" and be done with it.
