Sure I'll make this my first post lol. I just finished a build and I went with a 15" utg pro super slim free float hand guard in od green. I have to say I'm more than pleased with the fit and finish of the handguard. The od is damn near perfect match to my Magpul furniture. I couldn't be more happy. Being new to this forum, I'm not sure how to attach a picture though so y'all gotta take my word for it or tell me how lol.

Greetings, I just picked up a 15" keymod version. I'd like to slip it over a heavy 18" barrel I have laying around. Can anyone suggest a low profile .936 gas block that will work under this hand guard? Thanks.

I think I'm going to go with a Super Slim carbine rail for my .22 SBR.

The bottom of a .750 set screw, low profile gas block clears the bottom of the regular Super Slim by maybe 1/8". The bottom of a clamp-on, low profile .750 gas block touches the bottom of the regular Super Slim. |

Thanks! Wound up using a Troy low profile. Tight fit over the barrel....had to remove a couple 1000ths to get it to fit, but once it slid over the hole there was plenty of clearance for the handguard. Also had to throw the barrel in the lathe to get the barrel nut to fit. Took it from about 1.07ish diameter to 1.04ish before refinishing, after that everything went together nicely. Good handguard.
