Is one of these better then the other?  I have hard of Stag so was going to get this one.  My concern (I asked them) because I don't know enough is that they say it's stamped 5.56 and I was wanting one that is multi so I could shoot 5.56 or 2.23 but they say it's stamped 5.56 but will do both.  Could someone confirm this for me.

Also is the $215 price high?  It's lower then what's on gun broker.

Yes, you can use .223 in a 5.56 BARREL.  The stamp on the side doesn't necessarily mean anything on a custom rifle.

That lasted longer than I expected.  Inventory is staying in stock longer and longer. A good sign I think.  Now if the prices will drop a little more....

Aero is one of those companies like CTD that screwed over its customer base, claimed they wouldn't raise prices, then doubled their retail prices, claimed they would ship orders to dealers, and has since cancelled pre-election dealer orders, etc.

I'd go with the Stag, that is, if its not actually made by Aero as they make private label product, based on moral and ethical reasons.

Doesn't matter what the lower says. It'll do whatever caliber you build the rifle to, up to a certain size.

Thank you to those that gave sensible answers to my noobish questions.  Yes I meant .223 not 2.23 HA that's what happens when your trying to type fast get quick answers before things go OOS.

Still on the fence of course if I should pull the trigger on the Stag at $215 from what I can tell there is no real difference between the two other then the logo's and one is stamped multi and the other stamped 5.56

In my extremely unexpert opinion I would say get the cheaper one (LRB right now). I've built my share of lowers, people crap on brand X and lionize brand Y and in the end they are 99.99% the same. I will grant that there may be differences among the top brands, but I am not the only one around here who will tell you to buy which ever one has the roll marks you like the best.

Just my two cents!

Agreed, he's GTG with either Stag or LRB.  Disregard whether it says 5.56 or .223 or MULTI.  There is no difference.

Yes you can shoot 5.56 or .223 through the rifle.

You should take some time to read the FAQ in the ammo forum.

Has anyone heard anything from DSG on the seekins lowers that they had on 2-11?  I have not heard anything.  I don't want to call and slow them down even more if someone here has any insight.

I JUST got off the phone with them.  I thought my FFL's info hadn't gotten there since there was such a long delay.  The guy looked it up and it's there.  He said they had a ton of Seekins lowers and that some FFL stuff just got buried.  I'd call and check if you're concerned.  They're really easy to get a hold of and very helpful on the phone.

these spikes lowers are still selling for $250++++ on GB.kom.  so all things considered the market is dictating pricing... mfgrs are just responding to the market.  its still a 'good deal' compared to what they are actually selling for.

What kind of paint would I need to color fill the rollmark to match the red bullets?
