I have been searching.
I found the QD 80% billet piece. Pretty nice. Who else makes high end billet pieces?
Who makes cheap 80%'s? You know... just beaters. Just some toss together stuff?
Is there a list of 80% suppliers somewhere?
Thanks

Copied from another page and too lazy to edit.

Tactical Machining (forgings)

Colfax Tactical (Forgings)
https://www.colfaxtactical.com/ar15.htm

Ares Armor has ones from forgings, and has their ATF determination letter.
Bare, $80 each

Type III Hard ano, $90 each
http://www.aresarmor.com/install/eco.../TACMHL15.html

Also, RifleGear.com appears to have the TacticalMachining ones in stock at the moment...

Quentin Laser always has the billet AR-15 ones. Rumor has it that they are going to start making their AR-10 variant again soon. Lately, their customer service has been lacking.

These guys have engraving too...

I've bought from this guy on GB in the past & it was a good experience (easy deal), bought another one just now. I don't know the "name brand" but they look nice. I have not finished the first one out yet.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive.

I have been thinking about this actually. I figured something to do with the second ammendment. Just not sure what, yet, though.
