Whats the story on them? Good? Bad?
I"m looking at product #SP053. They said I could expect 1/2-1 inch groups. Is that true?

they don't give any real specs on the BCG and barrel as to the specs. It is in 5.56 not .223 or .223 Wylde chamber so it'll have slightly looser tolerances which can cause less accuracy. But I can't say definitively because I don't own the barrel. Try to find someone who does or ask the company for a money back guarantee if you aren't happy with it. I know aimsurplus does that with their new products that no one has had time to review yet. never hurts to ask.

Every upper on that web site that I've looked at says the specs. 5.56, 1 in 9 twist ect. Also, 5.56 is not going to cause less accuracy. A barrel chambered in 5.56 will allow you to shoot a wider variety of ammo without worrying about over pressure. With a 223 chamber you should never fire 5.56 ammo. All that being said, I don't have any experience with AR15depot.com.
