I replaced the A2 stock on my 18" scoped AR with a STR stock and, since I apparently can't have a spare stock just taking up space, I assembled this (and took a crappy pic of it) :

I still need a BCG, and will get a M5 RAS as soon as I can. It should be a nice, simple shooter. I'm kind of surprised at how well-balanced it is.

First AR, and first build. Just got to test it out and get it sighted in today, really enjoyed it. this is a lowsy bench picture, but it's all I've got so far. BA lower, Aero upper, BA Hanson 16" mid, Sparc 2 red dot, FAB Defense GL-Core stock. Really cool little gun!

My wife's rifle now wears a SR-15 E3 barrel cut to 14.5 and it has a pinned and welded YHM brake.  I pulled the 16" SR-15 E3 barrel out of that upper today and installed it in my "DDM4E3" gun with a NT-4 FH.

This is sort of funny but I think it's the only finished rifle I have which doesn't have anything KAC on it.

He doesn't know me!

I'm just a fan of the company and their products.

I would bet that Reed and myself would agree on this: a golf course is a horrible use of a gun range.

I even played in college.

Seriously? All of those gorgeous sticks are YOURS?
You must have one of the most extensive collections of ARs on the planet.
AND a trust fund.

There are many people on arfcom (and elsewhere) who have what I'd call extensive collections.

What I will say is I've been working in the industry for several years now, and the opportunities afforded me were pretty nice.  As I told many of my former coworkers: the reason so many people came to me is because I worked my tail off for them and did so time and time again.

I didn't say that I did.

I sold a lot of guns and accessories for a fairly large FFL and many MFGs benefit the employee based on what product is sold.  Sometimes I'd get a free gun based on my sales which would be sold back to the FFL for something I'd want.

Got some help from the forum so I figured I would drop this here.  Not finished, but nearly. Still want to get some BUIS.

I won the lower in a giveaway on Arf so I felt as if I had to honor them by finishing the rifle.  I have had AR's and a ton of experience, but this is the first one I have built all by hand.

Stag 2nd Amendment Lower
Stag A3 upper
PSA 15" forearm
PSA BCG
Magpul MOE Lower Build Kit
POF-USA EFP trigger (4lb)
