I am waiting on a used carry handle from the EE to replace the KAC. I don't know why, but I find this gun aesthetically pleasing. Will be done with addition of carry handle. Nothing special, WW 1/9 factory upper, bushmaster lower, spikes lpk and buffer kit with st-t2. The rest is self explanatory.

Maybe head space? Just going to take it to a smith one of these days. So it looks like it was the buffer set up I chose. I put in a working BCG from another working rifle and then it finally shot, but then bolt would get stuck to the rear half the time and I'd have to release the bolt catch before pulling the trigger. Then I put on a suppressor in it, and it ran flawlessly. I also put the original BCG from the built rifle I posted into the working rifle to see if it ran OK, and it did. I think the only combo I didn't try is to normal up the build, and shoot it with the suppressor on. And the buffer is the JP Enterprise Silent buffer spring. Probably not the best choice, but the direction if the rifle changed during the build. |
