Well, I've been coveting the 20" Wilson Combat 223 Wylde barrels for a while and when I saw them go on sale during the holidays, I couldn't resist snagging one. I was already going the lightweight route with my new build, so I decided to turn my original AR into a tack driving tank (the barrel alone is 63oz, lol). It's still a work in process - I'd like to get a higher powered scope (currently a 2-7) and a different stock - but I'm happy with where it's headed.

These are my first shots after zeroing the rifle. Certainly not world beating, but not bad for me with a 7x optic.

Here's the gun as it sits now:

I have since swapped the 2 muzzle devices. Both have 1-8 wylde chambered barrels.

Could you give some details on the builds?

Got in a quick photo session of the old build. Hopefully I'll have a new one to post in the coming weeks.

I assume you are directing this at me?  I don't know of any others that have the Ruger PRS stocks on their AR's.  I bought it used from a guy that had changed his PRS stock out.  I sanded off the emblem, and then had the cheek rest re-coated.

Great looking rifles!  Is that the aero "noveske" green?   Looks a ton better in that picture if so.  I'd suggest getting a magpul PRS for it if you're thinking fixed stock.  They can be had for $180 now that the gen 3 is out.

My first build. Just a random assortments of premium parts that looked cool or had reputable brands. Was sort of going for light weight. It feels really good and balanced. I screwed something up though; it ain't working right. ??

Still deciding on optics. Might just do irons.
Its lubed...problem is when i pull the trigger with a round in chamber, it clicks but doesn't hit the primer enough, Just makes a little dimple. i compared to a known good working rifle, trigger and bolt looks OK. Maybe head space? Just going to take it to a smith one of these days.

Make sure your hammer springs' legs are installed over the triggers' cross pin.  Sometimes builders forget to get those hammer spring legs over the cross-pin and they ride below, on the floor of the lower receiver, which reduces hammer striking power.  Good luck Kemosabi.

Here's a picture of mine.
It's an Anderson lower and flat top with an HN 20" barrel and Magpul hand-grip. I can use it with my BSA scope (Cheap I know) or I can put the front sight and carry handle on.

Here is my latest build, I just finished it this week.  I built it to be a higher end 300 SBR.  I love the fact it is on a AAC lower marked 300, and am waiting on a form 4 for a AAC SDN6.  It went together nicely, I had to modify the Geissele rail for the Vltor upper.  The anti-rotate section was to narrow, but nothing a Dremmel couldn't handle.

Here are the details:

Lower:
Registered Form 1 AAC 300 Marked Stripped Lower
LWRCI Ultra Compact Stock Kit in FDE
Geissele SDE
Iron Viper Ambi Selector
Seekins FDE Aluminum Trigger Guard
BAD Enhanced Take-down and Pivot Pins
Executive Ordnance Grip
Phase 5 Extended Bolt Catch/ Release
Odin Works Extended Mag release Button in FDE

Upper:
Noveske marked Vltor MUIR upper
Noveske 10.5" Barrel in 300 BLK/ with gas block and tube
Noveske BCG with matching bolt
Geissele 9.5" Mk8 Handguard in Desert Dirt
Geissele Super Charging handle in DD
AAC Brakeout 2.0 Muzzle Devise
BoBro Lowrider Irons

Hope I didnt forget anything... Ask if you have any questions..

Not sure what optic I am going to go with.  I'd like a 300 specific optic, but not sure what.  I think I'd like some magnification since it should be accurate with the Noveske Barrel.  Looking to spend >$1500.

Here it is during test firing, I added the bolt catch later.

Not sure on the other, I have 12 more 100% lowers I still need to add uppers to.

I have 5 complete ARs, I just build them for a rainy day

The lowers are Tactical Machine lowers finished with a 5D tactical jig and a Dewalt 611 router

First AR build. Started the build back in late October/early November. Now I just need to save up for an optic and break in the barrel.
