So I am putting together a spacegun, and I would very much like an adjustable buttstock... just cause their cool ;)
I would like something that can cant (haha), and adjust LOP - and has min LOP shorter than an A2 as its a little long for me (A1 going on service rifle), and can adjust the toe height. Adjustable cheek piece is nice. I'd like to keep the charge handle opperational, but will give that up for other things.
So far I have found:
EGW Spacestock $250 (claims legal for Highpower/CMP???)
http://www.egw-guns.com/parts/parts_ar15-2.htm
Maybe a 5 on cool factor. No cheekpiece, but fits the rest of the bill.
Whitley Spacestock $250
http://www.egw-guns.com/parts/parts_ar15-2.htm
A little cooler. No cheekpiece still.
Ironstone $350
http://www.ironstone.us
Much better on the cool scale. Has all the features. Min LOP???
Medesha AR-BP $145 + $145 (cheekpiece)
http://www.medeshafirearms.com/Buttstocks.0.html
Up there with Ironstone on cool scale... but increases LOP.
Medesha AR-BS $345
Solves the LOP problem... same on coolness. But now I need to modify bolt.
Accuracy Speaks $78.75
http://www.accuracyspeaks.com/parts.htm
Buttplate only... but goes in/out/up/down/around. LOP???
Sierra Precision $57.25
http://www.sinclairintl.com/cgi-bin/catego...5185&type=store
Pretty much like Accuracy Speaks. Again adds to LOP
Al Turner $150
http://www.turner-enterprises.com/catalog.htm
I know nothing about this one, but sounds like the above two.
Fulton Armory - Guardian - $139.95
http://www.fulton-armory.com/M6Parts2.htm#LowerParts
Has everything but the cheekpiece... not as cool as the cool ones, but works
and is not a budget breaker.
DPMS $169.95
http://www.competitionshootingsports.com/c...ry76/product131
Does not cant... but included for completness.
Thats what I came up with. I swear I had seen something similar to the Ironstone/Medesha stocks but it had markings so you could come back to the exact same spot (like a sight). Anyone know what that was?
Please let me know if you know of any others and/or have more info or opinions on the above stocks. Right now I would probably lean to Medisha or Ironstone.
