Hose clamp.

Sling mount is a hose clamp and a welded ring.

And I torqued the barrel nut with a pipe wrench because the supplied wrench was a piece of shit.

But this thing shoots!

$6 chicom flashlight.  I will beat the hell out of it for a year and then do a range report.

You have money for a suppressor but not enough money for a light mount or to SBR that poor rifle ?

Reminds me of my airsoft days, hose clamps and zip ties everywhere, works just fine!

Actually it is more retro than ghetto.  Back in the day, SWAT teams would hose clamp lights to there long guns because those fancy weapon lights did not exist.  So imagine a select fire MP5 with a hose clamped d cell mag light on it...

$0.99 of flat black spray paint and some masking tape would make those clamps highly tactical.

Heck, I thought I was being ghetto by drilling, tapping, and cutting a 1" scope ring and bolting it to an ARMS base for a weapon light.

(Fuck dick swann!!!)

I've got a Surefire in a DD keymod mount on another rifle.

This light isn't as bright but for 26 yards or less.....

I actually suspect this setup would resist a greater impact on the downrange end of the light without breaking free.

Challenge accepted.

My light mount is two slots cut parallel in an AR-180B replacement upper hand guard on my  first gen (cheap and zytel instead of irreplaceable fiberglass), and a surefire G2 stuffed in a old 1" weaver scope ring, clamped onto the cuts.

That replaced being straight up taped on with PVC tape.

You know, you can get a decent offset light mount off Amazon for $9.

Not bad but yours incorporates actual firearms accessories.

I just got my first AR today so it doesn't have a light mount yet. But on my trusty marlin model 60 I used a ten dollar snap on light with one of my wife's hair ties holding it in place. Works real well for those stays that won't stay out of the garbage.

You're right.  Your setup is more ghetto than my setup.
Are zip ties more hi tech than hose clamps?

I remember using hose clamps for 4D cell flashlights in the mid 90's.

Good times.

Take a rail section and double face tape it to the tube.
JB weld for permanent.

Where there is a will there is a way.

A C cell Maglite Malkoff conversion would really reach out in the distance if you work in the country.
about three plus times the distance of Malkof M61.
