Just wanted to give a heads up for anyone trying to find a gear sector scout mount. I ordered a x series offset mount from DSG and the rail section is attached in the same manner as a scout. Simply remove the rail and drop on your light.

Yes, this is how you can get your hands on the new Gear Sector slim style Scout mount that hasn't been officially released yet. Although the screws for the 1913 rail section had red Loctite on mine, and were a pain to remove.
