Take a look at Viridian products.  I have a C5L on my Sig Tac-Ops.  It's my night stand gun.

Check out the Streamlight TLR-2® G

http://www.streamlight.com/en/products/detail/index/tlr-2-g

Can't be beat for the money. Many useful accesories (tape switches, battery door configurations) so you can set it up on the front end to your liking.

I have seen it as low as $255 shipped on Cyber Monday 2016.

Lowest price I can find at the moment is $276 at Grab A Gun: http://grabagun.com/streamlight-9.html

Personaly I would not pay more than $270 shipped. There are sales all the time, watch Botach, Optics Planet and Slick Guns.

Streamlight part number is 69265

Make sure you are getting the newer 800 lumen and not the older model with the same part number but with lesser lumens!

CL5 green is my favorite light very compact size, digital programable laser/light levels  strobe laser/light modes etc etc. The CL5's only draw back is light isn't as bright as the streamlight or surefire weapon models. That said, it's plenty bright enough for most any self-defense use ranges and way more compact size wise.
