Hey guys I'm new to lights but just want one for my sbr for home defense. This brand good to go? Stats and reviews wise it seems to be one of the best in it's class. Love the subtle battery gauge on the side. It can hold turbo mode for over 2 hours. Any reason to not buy? Am I missing something?

It's not a bad light for the budget brand lights. Wouldn't vouch for it as a weapon light.
I will however without a doubt 100% for sure will tell you that their specifications are WAY exaggerated. Will it push 1100lm? Sure, if it is using a real Cree XP-L V6 bin LED. Will it do it for 2hr? Not on an 18650 battery, I promise. With the electronic momentary switch on the side, I wouldn't give it much for reliability strapped on to a weapon. You're better off with a tail-cap/ remote switch.
I think for the price tag, you would be better served by a lower end big box brand or a custom built light for a weapon mounted light.

Don't like the tail cap feel for weapon mount. You will need to turn the side button inboard or you will activate the light when slung.
