I just bought a Klarus xt11gt handheld and it seems like a great light for the money. This is the battery that came with the light. In the link listed it says it is a protected battery, but in the instruction manual (mind you this is from China) it states, "Only when using KLARUS 18GT-IMR31 3100mAh battery or the same batteries of the other brand, the Max output could be up to 2000lm; When using the normal 18650 battery with PCB protection or 2 x CR123A batteries, the Max output could only be up to 1300lm." So is it a protected battery or not? The reason I ask is because I ordered some of these as extras. Did I make a good choice with the orbtronic batteries or will I not get peak performance out of the light with those? Any input is appreciated.
