Hi Guys,
Anyone have any input on how to modify this thing? Its long enough i can sit it on the edge of my barrel and use the remote to press it with my trigger finger. I need to shorten it or a better option. Anyone have one besides replacing the light?

Thanks

I am not exactly seeing what you are trying to do here. You either want a pressure switch tail cap to put the light way out in front, or you want the light shortened?  Why does it need to be shorter?  Why do you want to turn it on with your trigger finger?  That seems kind of counterintuitive to say the least.  What gun is this on?  The PD 35 doesn't lend itself very well to mounting to a rifle.  I have one on my 22lr AR and I had to make a delrin shim for it on my lathe.  Not hard at all if you have the equipment.  But a PITA if you don't.

So, I have the remote pressure switch. Its a lot like this one.

The problem is that the cord is too long and i am looking for other options that will work. I currently have the cord for the pressure switch wrapped around my rail.

The light came with a mount and it works well, I have it on my AR15 all the way at the end of my 12" rail. Just the cord is too long and trying to find out if anyone has any input on how to shorten the cord, or a different pressure switch that will work with it.
